Environment and Sustainability Policy Statement

At Epiphany we are committed to reducing the environmental impact of our activities at every stage, from design to the sourcing of materials and services. This includes our activities on site and at our offices; the operation of our completed buildings and finally their re-use or demolition.

This environmental policy ensures we protect and contribute positively to the environments we work in.

Our environmental and sustainability strategy for the company shall be updated annually and include measurable targets and actions to drive Epiphany to play our part in achieving the UN sustainable development goals by 2030.

It is our policy to identify all relevant legal, regulatory and client compliance requirements and outline clear processes to meet these; including pollution control, climate change and resource management.

Employees and site operatives

All employees and site operatives, including subcontractors, attend appropriate environmental training to enable them to manage the environmental impacts of their role.

Goods and services

All goods and services are procured in accordance with our sustainable procurement plan to ensure required environmental standards are met and that we remain a responsible consumer.

Data analysis and collation

We collate and analyse data regarding energy and water use; waste generation and carbon emissions from our activities. This is used to set appropriate reduction targets and inform measures for improvement.
We seek to influence the environmental performance of our completed projects whenever appropriate and possible, through measure such as efficient building systems and sustainable material selection.

Waste management

Effective waste management is key to our industry. The minimisation of waste is a priority for this year. Our supply chain are key to the achievement of these aims. Environmental performance remains an essential part of the selection criteria, and we support our suppliers to develop this where necessary.

Systems and processes

All systems and processes are continuously monitored for effectiveness, and opportunities for improvement highlighted. Targets are set against the above objectives and our performance reported to drive improvement and keep us accountable to our stakeholders.
